Before ballots are mailed on May 8, Democratic primary voters across Montana’s First Congressional District need to see across all digital platforms and read in their mailboxes about Sam’s unique bio and the type of next generation leadership he’ll bring to Washington.

Sam was raised by a nurse and schoolteacher who both struggled to make ends meet. He knows what it’s like to work over a thousand hours of overtime in a year and, even as a smokejumper (firefighter who parachutes into wildfires) risking his life to protect Montana’s public lands and people, and still be struggling to make ends meet. And as a union leader, he’s seen how greedy corporations and billionaires keep squeezing working families as the cost of groceries, housing, healthcare, and childcare keep going up in Montana. He’s running to provide a new generation of leadership that will actually represent working Montanans with the courage to fight for big, bold change

People should see actual footage of firefighting, smokejumpers and working Montanans. Voters in Western Montana don’t need to hear more about Donald Trump. People should know that Sam is endorsed by Bernie Sanders and over 25 Montana legislators – including 4 Republicans. He’s the only candidate who can put together a winning coalition of working class voters and Montanans across the political spectrum to flip this seat and fix big problems.
